Shipping policy

Johns Electrical delivers with our own vans and our own crew. We are not a parcel retailer — nothing is handed to a courier and nothing is left on a doorstep.

Delivery is free

Delivery is free on every product we sell, everywhere in our delivery area. There is no minimum order, and no surcharge for large, heavy or fitted appliances.

How long it takes

1-3 business days for products we hold in stock. We contact you to arrange a day and a time that suits you rather than leaving you waiting in. Products marked Available to Order are brought in from the Euronics central warehouse and carry their own dispatch estimate on the product page.

Where we deliver

We deliver to these postcode districts:

Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire: DN15, DN16, DN17, DN18, DN19, DN20, DN21
Doncaster and the Isle of Axholme: DN1, DN2, DN3, DN4, DN5, DN6, DN7, DN8, DN9, DN14
Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Immingham: DN31, DN32, DN33, DN34, DN35, DN36, DN37, DN39, DN40, DN41
North of the Humber Bridge: HU13, HU14
Market Rasen and Wragby: LN7, LN8

We do not deliver to DN10, DN11, DN12, DN22 or DN38, to Hull (HU1–HU12, HU15–HU17), to Lincoln or Louth (LN1, LN2, LN11), or to Sheffield, Wakefield and York. The postcode checker at checkout is the final word on whether we can reach your address. If you are just outside the list, call 01724 844040 or 01724 843800, or text 07401 332844, before ordering.

Installation and old-appliance removal

Installation is an optional paid service, and taking your old appliance away for recycling is part of it. The price depends on the appliance and is shown as a choice on every product page before you buy: £10 for small appliances, £35 for most large free-standing appliances, £55 for American-style fridge freezers, and £105 for fitted work such as integrated appliances, hobs, cookers and built-in ovens. Gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Collection

You can collect from 142 High Street, Scunthorpe, DN15 6EN instead of taking delivery. Choose in-store collection at checkout and wait for us to confirm your order is ready before travelling.
