About Johns Electrical

Johns Electrical has been selling appliances in Scunthorpe since 1971. We are still family-run, and still on the High Street.

Two shops

We run two showrooms a short walk apart. Johns Electrical is at 142 High Street. Electrical Appliances Direct, at 2-4a Allanby Street, is run by Paul Matthews. Between the two, you can see cookers, washing machines, fridges, TVs and small appliances in person before you decide.

Part of Euronics

We are a member of Euronics, a buying group of independent electrical retailers. That gives us the same brands and stock as the big chains, while each shop stays independently run.

Delivered by us, not a courier

When you order from us, our own delivery van and our own team bring the appliance to your door, not a subcontractor. The same team can install it, test it, and take your old appliance away.

Scunthorpe, and around it

We deliver across Scunthorpe and the surrounding DN, HU and LN postcode areas. Customers rate us 4.8 on Google, which we put down to the same thing we started with in 1971, showing up, doing the job properly, and being here afterwards if anything needs sorting.
